The good news for the ” Baby Turtles ” and People in South Africa, concerned about the “Safety of these Baby Turtles, like the Black Leather Turtles (get really really big and the Green and Loggerhead Turtles”, are that all the Albatross Species and other Sea Birds, along the Agulhas Banks, on Stockfish Long line and Trawler grounds, is that none of these Sea Birds pick up a baby turtle and they will not eat them.
The Baby Turtles often come past Stockfish long line vessels, and these small turtles will swim on the sea surface, amongst 100s of Sea Birds.
Not one sea Bird will even attempt to peck at or eat a Baby Turtle.
Why?
Because Sea Birds can smell the Jellyfish compounds being released from these Baby Turtles Skin Cells.
Yup Nature has the Solutions and Actions to Safeguard Baby Sea Turtles of South Africa and the World’s Oceans.
Unfortunately, Nature can not Safe Guard the Baby Turtles from eating plastic micro particles drifting on the Surface Current Edge Lines……
Now Plastic Pollution has extreme levels of ” Sulphur” and sulphur kills “Good Gut Bacteria of Baby Sea Turtles and Adult Sea Turtles”, which destroys their immune systems.
Turtles in Kenya, have cancer white growths over their eyes, because their immune systems are destroyed, and they are prone to diseases and their T cells can’t destroy these diseases or cancer growths, and eventually the Adult Turtle will go Blind and be an easy target to injury and Tiger Sharks…..
