During the Christmas holiday period, and especially on boxing day and New Year’s Day, the Strand beach will see many beach goers enjoying their beach outings, with families. friends and strangers.

Unfortunately, many beach goers will under estimate the dangers of the various currents within the surf zones, along this long stretch of beach.

Presently and  globally you will hear on radio, news channels, media and other social platforms of individuals, lifeguards and city officials telling you to only swim between the ‘Lifeguard’s BeachFlags”, to avoid “Rip Currents”.

Unfortunately, you won’t hear much on the various other currents present in all of your “World’s 5 Ocean’s Surf Zones”, so as to gain true understandings of your “Beach Surf Zone’s” visible movements or how to develop your ” Own Personal Aqua Sight”, that you could use anywhere in your “World”, where there are oceans, seas or fresh water bodies, that would protect you, your brother, sister, and friends lives.

A Typical Beach Day, Anywhere in the World:

Lifeguards will be monitoring the crowd of bathers between and around their ” Beach Flags”, indicating a safer sandbank for bathes to use.

Sit on the Beach, under the shade of an umbrella and watch the scene, for you are going to see “Yin and Yang’s Aqua In Motion, at Play”, and they are going to give you the “Free Gift” of your ” Own Personal Aqua Sight”, of insights and understandings of all Ocean’s, on this Planet, you call Earth and your Home.

Watch as the Lifeguards from time to time, move down to the waterline, blowing on their whistles and waving their arms at the crowds to move back between their flags.

Some of the Lifeguards will get rather upset, at the crowd of bathers moving to slow for their liking, for they believe the crowd should see what they see, as well as getting irritated for they will have to risk their lives to save bathers, who are at risk of drowning.

Many of these lifeguards have been mentally traumatized, due to bringing back bather’s bodies to shore, who have drowned, which after awhile takes a huge mental toll, on their mental health.

Unfortunately their seems to be a lack of communicating the easy to see visible signs and understandings of the movements of the various currents within the surf zones and backline zones.

 Now, Yin and Yang are showing you that there is a side current, that is moving along the beach, and causing the crowd of bathers to drift towards the “Rip and  Side-Channel”, and the ” Various Currents and Vortexes within these areas”.

Now if you became a lifeguard or a volunteer “Nipper”, one day, and really wanted to help the crowd and the little children learn about side, “V”, U and rip channels, then the best option would be, is to get the children who were getting to close to the “Channels” to come to shore, then walk back along the beach, to re-enter the safer zone between your ‘Lifeguard Flags”.

The Children that did this would then realize that a side-current was present, for they were so preoccupied with having fun in the waves with the crowd, their friends, brothers, and sisters, that they did not know they where been pushed towards the dangers of “Rip and Side-Channels” and it’s various currents and vortexes. 

You would be aiding each one these Children to start developing their own “Personal Aqua Sight”, that can protect and prevent them from unintentionally placing themselves, brothers, sisters, and friends lives in dangerous “Surf Zone Areas” and they would now be aware of the necessity to glance back at the shore, to orientate themselves to be inside the flags and start to be observant of beach zone buildings, structures, and lan features, that will be used by them to orientate themselves with regards to these various land features, that can be lined up to the variouis rip & side channels, so that they can have a mental map of the area, so as to know exactly where  the returning currents and surges are, so that they can use these water movements to return to the safety of the beach or the safe zones.

You look towards your right and see 4 small children coming down to the edge of the water, where they begin to run up and down the beach slope, as they run away from the shorebreak waves chases them, and they happy, excited and laughing together, and you can see they are thriving on happy adrenaline and endorphins.

To the left of Children is a deeper and calmer area, where the waves don’t break much, and the surface water is rippled at times, when it pulls out.

The bigger two children are 6 and 7 and the two little girls are 4 and 5 years of age.

The bigger boy waits a little longer before he decides to turn and run back up the beach, and his little sister is standing right behind him, and waiting with him, for her big brother has always protected her and she trusts him.

The other little boy of 6 and his sister of 5, turn and run to the safety of the high peaks of sand, above the high tide mark.

The little boy of 7 waits a little bit longer and then turns to bolt up the beach slope knowing he will get a super surge and feelings of happy adrenaline, but he slams hard into his little 4-year-old sister and they both hit the sand hard.

The little girl is hurt, and now sitting up and holding her hand to her head and the little boy now on his knees moves in close to look at his sister’s head, for blood is running down her left cheek.

The shore-break wave comes in and slams them both super hard, and their heads slam into each other, with the sound of ” Coconuts Cracking”, there is just white water now and tumbling the Children in a rolling angled arch along the sloping water line of sand to the left.

You spot the little boy, been pulled towards the shore break, but his actions are slow and he looks disoriented, as he is on his stomach and been pulled feet first.

The Boy’s sister is lifeless and the water is rolling her little body down the beach break slope like a rolled up carpet.

You don’t realize that the little girl is unconscious, due to the ” Coconut Cracking of the Bumping of their heads, with each other”.

The next shore break wave is a bit smaller and causes an outward pull, the little boy has his head above the surface of the water and looks like he can ” Doggy-paddle”, and the next shore break slams him hard and knocks out his wind and he has no air in his lungs.

The little Boy was already very dizzy and had a huge bump on his right eye’s eyebrow-line, which was starting to swell super fast.

The shore-break pulls out hard again and the little boy stays underwater and his airways lock shut because he tried to breathe underwater, he is tumbled and twisted as the aerated vortexes begin to pull, push, twist and wash him around like fibers in a washing machine and he never comes back to the surface and is now been bounced along the sandy bottom and been pulled out by the center current rippled volume of water.

The little girl has drowned and is bouncing along the sandy bottom of the sandbank, on a “Bow Current Edge,just off the side drop off”, her eyes are closed for she was knocked unconscious and never went through the feelings of drowning ,panicking and blacking out.

The two little Children are frantic on the beach and keep looking at the ” Shore-Breaking -Waves” hoping their friends will be washout.

A lady on the beach saw the whole scene of the brother and sister been knocked down and screamed which alerted a lot of people and a random line of beach-goers are now moving fast towards the two children, who are now hesterical.

More onlookers come and some people dive into the water and are searching the shore break area for the children, as they dive below the surface of the water.

Yin and Yang now show you something, they show you the Rippled Centre line of water moving out, the water surface is choppy, the little boy is 70 meters offshore, just below that piece of seaweed you see, but unfortunately, the rescue swimmers in the shore zone diving frantically, don’t see the “Centre Ripple Chop” or the piece of seaweed, marking the spot where the little boy is bouncing below on the bottom and been taken out.

The Little Boy’s body will never be seen again.

The White Tern you have just seen hit the water, and come up with a “Mullet”, is the exact spot where the little 4-year-old Girl, is now bouncing on the bottom.

The Mullet explode from the water as two Kingfish torpedo and side flash,as they inhale mullet.

The Little Girl is on the Bow Current Edge of the right-hand side of the Rip Channel, 5 meters from the 4 people diving below the surface of the water on the sandbank.

White Turns are now diving into an area just in front of the backline surf.

You see a few pieces of ” Seaweed” in this area.

You see the foam streaks and they are moving in a clockwise direction, more pieces of seaweeds and they are moving in an oblong “Circulating Path of Water”.

Yin and Yang have just shown you their gyre and a path for you to see, understand and use to get back to shore, had you been caught in an outward pulling current, and taken into this spot,by the bow-currents.

Unfortunately for many who just tread water or float on their back, they will just keep going around in this gyre’s rotation, and burn up energy trying to keep their head and airways above the water, for they don’t see or understand Yin and Yang’s Gyre of circulation or how Yin and Yang Play here, or know what you know now..

The Little Girl is now Circulating in this Gyre, on the sandy bottom, amongst the thick carpet of Red Surf Zone Seaweeds.

She looks peaceful and asleep as the “Seaweeds Tickle her face and brush her blond hair.

You see to the right, as the waves come through, their force pushes past this gyre’s right oblong side and then at an angle to the left and their motion helps fuel the rotation of the gyre, as the gyre also pulls on their inward surge to join it.

For Surf Zones work like this, for when a piece of water is moving in the Surf Zones, other forces and volumes of water nearby will be pushed or pulled to replace this water’s movement of drift.

This has been happening for billions of years, just like this and during the day and night.

The cause of the gyre’s main force is the rip current and bow-currents coming out of the rip channel, which Yin and Yang’s sets of waves give the flow of “Aqua Engery” too.

A bit further right the waves push in as the surface water surges in and moves straight towards the beach and then angles a bit to the right, as there is side current as well as the Earth’s Southern Hemisphere of Central Fugal Force, that helps the surface water, to want to move anticyclonic with ease.

This left hand side Gyre helps their flow and drift.

Yang has made another Gyre to the far right of this sandbank’s backline drop off, where another outward ‘Rip Channel”, is the the main motor of this Gyre.

You see more pieces of Seaweed in this path of Yin and Yang, that have been playing just like this for ” Billions of years already.

The water now angled shore-wards and at an angle to the right, you now realize that the gyre’s pieces of “Surface Seaweeds” are been filtered off  and are been pushed to shore, by Yin and Yang’s Softer and Gentle Paths.

You see a man in waist-deep water and a White Tern dives 5 meters in front of him and comes up with a Mullet, and the Seagulls give chase and try to steal the Mullet, as they chase the Tern, but the Term has gliding wings and swoops down and up which makes the Seagulls in flight seem like they are hardly moving, for they are no match for the speed and grace of the White Teen, with its black beak and its bright red tip.

Your Mom now standing next to you, sees the man bend down into the water, and he lifts the little 4-year-old Girl’s body out of the water, he gives her mouth to nose.

Your Mom distracts your attention and she makes you help to pack up your beach belongings.

You never see the man carry the “Little Girl’s Body” up the beach, or the people and the Lifeguards who come running, for you and your Mom are now walking up the beach and are now on the pathway back towards your holiday accommodation.

As you and your Mom round the bend and are walking past the tidal pool, your Mom spots a little girl in the tidal pool, teaching little 4 and 7-year-old children about “Surf Zones Swimming”,with their Mom’s and Dads, some are in the water helping, laughing and others are watching from the dry beach sand, surrounding the shallows of the pool.

Your Mom walks down to watch, and places her beach belongings on the beach, and takes your hand and walks into the knee-deep water with you.

This is the first time in your life that you have touched an “Ocean” and you have never been taught how to swim.

Siobhan waves at you and says hi, and asks if you would like to join, the other kids say hi to you and smile and you sit down in the water with them.

Siobhan has a few Children lying on their tummies, for they have been taught how to clear water from their nose and can now sniff in air and then cough to clear any water from their nose, mouth and airways, and you hear water sounds coming from some noses and some have mastered how to drain the water from their nasal cavities.

The Children sniff in air through their nose and cough to clear their airways.

There are little 4 to 12 years olds who are in knee-deep and waist-deep water, and there is a hive of activity in the shallow waters of the tidal pool.

Some are floating with their heads in the water, and have their arms spread out like skydivers and are dead still and look as though they have drowned,but then come alive to give two soft gentle breaststrokes and two gentle frog kicks, then lift their heads out of the water to breath, and then do two gentle breaststrokes and two gentle  frog kicks, with their heads low and above the water, for these children no longer cough for they now know how to Swim & Act 2 Survive Surf Zone Currents.

You notice that they are all super calm and have their heads and bodies super low in the water. You also notice that everyone is super happy but exceptionally comfortable and calm having their heads and airways so close to the waters surface.

You very surprised that there are so many young  “Children Swimming” like this, for they are very young but are all very comfortable being in the water with little heads and bodies that are ” Super Low in the Water”

Some look like ” Pond Frogs that hardly move and others seem to be like Stealth Navy Seal Divers, just like the movies you have seen of Navy Seal Divers, who move just like these little Children”.

The other Children you saw at the beach in the shallow waters, between the Lifeguard’s Flags, who lay down in the knee-deep water, would jump up and get quiet flustered about getting water on their face and would blow through their mouths and close their eyes and then bring up their hands to wipe the water off their closed eyelids and run on the spot in discomfort, distressed, and paniced.

You see a surfboard on the beach with 5 Bald Eagle’s on its underneath side, the same 5 Eagles on Siobhan’s surfers-skin top, and in front of the board are two plastic balloon sticks with small Lifeguard Flags, Shark Flag, Red Flag all in a row and below each other.

You ask her if she is a volunteer Lifeguard, and she says no, and says she teaches little Children 4 Free on school holidays and some weekends, on ” How 2 Swim & Act 2 Survive Surf Zone Currents”.

She asks you if you can swim and you say no, she says no problem would you like to know how to swim in the sea and survive the various “Ocean Currents”.

You say yes please.

Siobhan asks you if you have ever taken water up your nose in your bath while you were washing your hair, and she says she has and laughs, and you say you have as well and laugh with her.

Siobhan points out that even just the gentle cupping of your hands and arm movements causes ripples in the bath, which lap over your eyes and into your nose and when you did submerge your head under the water, and that if you don’t sit up the water says in the cavities of your nose to clog and block up with bathwater, and you can’t sniff in air through your nose to cough.

“Parents and guardians also tell us to sit up if we choking and never to lay down and eat, for we can choke,” she says.

She points out that it is a safety mechanism of the human body, that if we get something stuck in our throat or swallow water down the wrong way, our airways will shut closed so that we can’t breathe the object or water further down our airways.

“We need to sniff through our nose to open our airways, then we need to cough to bring the object or water up to clear our airways”.

You say yes you choked yesterday like this and had to do sniff and cough. She gives you a high 5 and says well done.

 She tells you that a lot of Children, Teens, and Adults drown and just before they drown, they learn a lesson.

The lesson they learn is that they don’t require a lot of energized arm and leg movements, to keep their head and airways above the water, but it is a lesson understood too late, for by this stage their arms and legs feel like lead, and they are hardly capable of moving them, but their heads are now low in the water, and they are not sinking, with just the gentlest and slowest of movements.

Siobhan says to you: ” Look at all the small young children, now swimming with soft gentle breaststrokes and gentle frog kicks, they have learned this lesson already and will not panic if the end up in the various “Ocean Currents”.

Siobhan says to you that many children around the world, play on shore breaks of beaches, and run away from the incoming shore break and then chase the water back to the Ocean’s Edge, but end up bumping or tripping into each other, and fall down and then a shore break wave pulls them in and out with currents.

Siobhan says that if any of these Children here, were playing and chasing the shore break waves and got pulled out, each one of them would be able to clear their airways and be able to keep themselves on the surface, where people could see and rescue them.

She says that all the children here now all know how to use ” Surf Flip & Kick Dive Swimming” and she points out a few Children using this technique.

She says just like you will see Lifeguards come running down to the surf zone and put on their filppers,before they swim out to rescue bathers in difficulties, so too do you have your own personal “Big Flipper”, some call it their own ” Mermaid or Mermen’s Tail”.

She tells you that many children only hear about ” Rip Currents” but never get to hear about the outward pulling surges on sandbanks , that are caused by the incoming sets of waves.

Children don’t get taught how to watch the surface foam, that shows you exactly what is happening in the swallows, middle surf and back line surf.

Most children will never be told of ” Bow Currents” and how to understand that they show you the swallow sandbanks in the middle surf and some inside backline areas, were the water can be knee depth in the shallows and waist deep in the middle surf, where you can walk on to position yourself to use Yin and Yang’s Softer and Gentle Paths of drift and flow to reach the beach again.

She tells you that floating on your back, in outward pulling surges on Sandbanks and in side and ripple channels is dangerous,and will set you up to panic, for the choppy water and Bow Currents will swamp your face and airways,and you will choke and you can’t sniff in when you laying down on your back. You must not listen to people who tell you to float on your back in ” Ocean Currents”, for you won’t be able to see the surface foam, Dumpers and waves if you looking up at the sky and you will be stacking the odds of survival against yourself.

Someone whistles from the beach area of the tidal pool and Siobhan looks up and waves at a man pointing and tapping his watch.

Siobhan says it’s her dad and she has to go now, for they are going surfing. 

She tells you that she will be back tomorrow morning again, and says she will help you know some more about the “Ocean Currents” and says she has YouTube Videos if you want to learn more and she can tell your Mom where to find them, as well as her Facebook pages, of sketches and CAD drawings marking all the Rip and Side Channels of the beach around the corner, for there is information that shows you how to use the softer and gentle paths of currents bringing you back to the shallow sandbanks if you get pulled or pushed by any of the various types of currents that occur around the corner.

Siobhan whistles and starts saying bye and waves at some of the Children, Mom’s and Dads and says let’s go to your Mom, and she runs to get her board and pulls the two plastic balloon sticks out of the sand.

You run with and you both go to your Mom, you introduced her to your Mom and she says hi and tells your Mom where to see the ” 4 Oceans How 2 Swim & Act 2 Survive Surf Zone Currents” and  her Fb groups and says she will see you tomorrow. She says that you can go back into the pool and swim with the children, just copy what they doing, for they are all friendly now.

You watch her run with her board under her arm, and you realize there are not just 10 Eagles, moving up the beach, but 11 and there are more Eagles in the tidal pool, for they have the gift of ” Aqua Sight”, for they understand what Eagles see from above when they soar up above and upon the Winds and observe the World’s 4 Ocean’s Surf Zone Currents below.

Your Mom gives you a huge and says I see you have made a new friend, well done.

You see a family walking past on the walkway and they heading towards the beach around the corner, there is a little boy and his sister walking hand in hand with their Mom and their Dad is carrying a cooler bag and beach umbrella.

The little boy and girl have the same colours of hair as the little 4-year-old blond girl and the brown-haired 7-year-old boy, who got pulled off the beach slope by the shore-break, and tears start running down your cheeks.

Your Mom puts her arms around you  and hugs you and whispers gently to you: “Let’s go learn to swim with Siobhan’s friends in the pool, and you sniff and say yes Mom as you both turn and walk towards the tidal pool

You and your Mom walk into the shallow waters of the tidal pool, and some children see you and wave and smile. You wave and smile back and feel better, and you feel a happy thought, for tomorrow you will see Siobhan again and you know she will help you understand the ” Ocean’s Waves now breaking on the reef,outside the wall and safety of this tidal pool.

Siobhans Reasons Why She Helps Children Understand Ocean Currents & How 2 Swim With In Them:

Siobhan in 2019 asked her dad to help safeguard the Children drowning in False Bay during their Christmas holidays at “Dapper se Gat” and Kogelbaai where she catches ” Galljeon” and Strand where she likes to do Rock and Surf Fishing, on the reefs, beach areas and ” The Fence”, where bus loads of people come to swim over the Christmas Festivities and on New Years Day.

Dad walked the beach at Kogelbaai to Dappats se Gat, and marked all the “Rip and Side Channels,with their various currents, then drew sketches and laminated them and put them put at Dappats se Gat and Kogelbaai Holiday Camp Site..

Well before Christmas dad did some CAD drawings and laminated them and put them up at these beaches and handed some to Stand Lifeguards Club House and posted them on numerous Global Lifeguards social media sites.

In 2018 ,SioBHa was vEry worried and concerned about Climate Change, Global Warming and thought of the Planet experiencing its 6 Mass Extinction and did a video to help Children and Teens to stop commiting suicides, for her school and friends discussed the increased level of Eco Anxieties and Eco Mental Stress that has seen many global teen increases of suicides.

Siobhan and her friends discuss Gloabl Warming and Climate Change at their schools and the effects on Humanity, Wildlife ,Marine Life and the predictions of the Planet only having 12 years left before it ends and the global social media creating awareness about the 6th Mass Extinction of the Planet.

Siobhan asked her dad if he can help her and her friends stop their Planet’s 6 th Mass Extinction and of course her dad said yes he will help them.

Dad says to Siobhn, that you say you would like to become a ” Marine Biologist”, because you love been around Oceans.

Now to become a Marine Biologist you would have to understand Marine Life, like you understand your ” Surf Zone Currents and how Nature uses Yin and Yang’s  Aqua Forces”.

The problem at the moment globally, is that just like so many children, teens and adults don’t fully understand their World’s Surf Zone Currents, so to do they not fully understanding how Nature has been functioning for billions of years in their neighborhoods, water bodies and their Oceans, and this places them at a great disadvantage, for they then develop Eco Anxieties and Eco Mental Stress, where global data been stated on radio, media,news channels and social media platforms are revealing Statistical Eco and Worldly Mental Stress related data on suicides having increased astronomically.

Humanity in general have  a tendency to worry about things they don’t fully understand and this increaseing their “Anxiety and Stress Levels”, which then causes the “Mindsets” of many to shut off mentally, which results in them stopping their thoughts on trying to come up with solutions to solve their worries.

At the moment at schools and general global awareness campaigns, children are been encouraged to develop their own critical and independent thinking and skills.

Logic would then mean that the only way that many children, teens and adults could achieve this, would be if they chose to reclaim their ” Mental Sanity”, but this would require that they choose to see ,understand and gain insights of Nature’s many ” Silver Bullets that allows Nature to create Balance by using Yin and Yang to aid Nature’s many functions of these Natural Silver Bullets, that exsist in all of Nature’s Various Eco Systems, on their  Planet.

The only way you and your friends have a chance of stopping this Planet from experiencing its 6 th Mass Extinction, would be if you and your friends could make it easy for many of the global children, teens and adults to be able see and understand how Nature’s Silver Bullets work, for at present many of Nature’s Silver Bullets are ” Filters of Functions that work to create the Gifts of Life, but unfortunately they have switched from been creators 4 Life, to now become the destroyers of Life, and now have switched to speeding up the 6 th Mass Extinction.

Unfortunately so many of these global teens, children and adults are not seeing or understanding Nature’s Filters and the very Silver Bullets they do not defend them anymore.

Globally there are huge school strikes and many adult strikes all calling for Global Government Policy change, so as to stop Climate Change and Global Warming. 

Unfortunately the people striking have a huge ” Collective Brain Power of Critical Solving Capability”, that is not been used to solve many of the Climate Change and Global Warming issues they are raising.

Dad is just like many of the other Global Parent’s and Guardians, who right now are also listening  or dealing with their Children’s concerns, worries and fears about Climate Change and Global Warming.

As parents all we can do is try to help you physically and pass on our knowledge to you, so that you might be able to see and known what we understand, and learn through our experiences of life, so that you have a chance to protect your Planet and have a chance to create better lives than we have, for you don’t have to make the same mistakes we have made.

Dad like many other parents and guardians won’t be around for ever,but at least we have the chance now to help you.

You have done a good couple of videos on YouTube, and have the general idea of what is needed to help prevent this Planet from having to experience it’s 6th Mass Extinction.
